Check Out This Modern Boho House in Miami

This modern boho house in Coconut Grove, Miami is one unique residential space. Designed by Architect SOW Design Studio, this boho house in Miami has all the glamorous contemporary fittings like polished concrete flooring and large windows, along with unique architectural lighting and luxury brass hardware throughout. While being largely minimalist and contemporary, the organic accents in the space add a bohemian vibe.

This home is incredibly stylish and has tons of unique features. Strings of LED lights and beachy jute pendants are installed throughout the home creating artful and welcoming nooks all around the home. Like this spot in the living room wet bar, light wood built-in shelving with white washed backsplash creates an elevated look with the pendant light fixture. 

Under the staircase as well includes a unique contemporary sconce that acts as part art, part functional light. Beneath the LED sconce, a laid-back wooden chair creates a pleasant lounge area. The interior designers kept the furniture quite colorful and casual with low ottoman-style seating.

A kitchen like this will always be the hearth of the home. The large center island makes food prep and entertaining easy. Bohemian accents are layered in through rattan-style pendants above the island and matching wishbone chairs. The gorgeous light wood continues in the kitchen with custom-made cabinetry and matching wine cellar.

The master bedroom of the home is so calming. The large wall-to-wall ceilings let in so much light and outside greenery. The matching wood floor and ceiling paneling are such a beautiful design choice and are details that make the home feel so luxurious.

The bathrooms in this home also shine with unique bohemian elements. In the master bathroom, a cement freestanding tub is situated near a walk-in shower with dual brass shower heads. Leaning against the wall, a rustic ladder is used as a bohemian towel rack. In fitting with the rest of the home, the design choices are both bohemian yet contemporary, and always inviting.

One of the other bathrooms in the home also includes bold wallpaper with a tropical motif. The colorful wallpaper compliments the vanity with boho wooden cutouts.

It wouldn’t be a Coconut Grove home without the amazing outdoor space. With a covered porch, full kitchen and pool, the covered cabana area is the perfect place to relax and enjoy life during the warmer months. The tropical trees and plants surrounding the backyard make the home feel like a true tropical oasis.
